As a co-signatory of successful Copper Awards, the partner venue shares responsibility with the ABTT for upholding the validity and fairness of the award. As such the partner venue should ensure the Copper Award test is taken by candidates in the following conditions
Candidates must not:
- have more than 30 minutes to complete the test
- confer with anyone during the test
- look up information on the internet nor use textbooks during the test
Candidates may:
- refer to their own notes, taken during the training delivered by the partner venue
- navigate backwards and forwards through the test questions to check their answers before submitting them for the result
- make notes and sketches as they do the test to help them think about the questions and answers
